As they were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders. So they threw the man into Elisha’s tomb. When the man touched Elisha’s bones, he revived, and stood up on his feet!


They begged him that they might just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.


She had suffered many things by many physicians, and had spent all that she had, yet had not gotten better, only worse.


For she was saying, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be saved from this.”


Wherever he went—into villages, cities, or the country—they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might just touch the fringe of his cloak. And all who touched him were healed.


so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched his body were brought to the sick, and their diseases left them, and the evil spirits came out.


As a result, people carried the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them.
