Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.


Again he began to teach by the seaside. A large crowd was gathered around him, so he entered a boat in the sea and sat down while the multitude was on the land by the sea.


Leaving the crowd, they took him with them, just as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.


When he got out of the boat, immediately a man with an unclean spirit came out of the tombs to meet him.


Jesus immediately perceived in himself that power from him had gone out. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”


They went away in the boat to a secluded place by themselves.


Now Jesus was standing by the lake of Gennesaret, and the people were crowding around him to hear the word of God.


He got into Simon’s boat and asked him to put out a little from the land. Then he sat down and taught the crowd from the boat.


Then Jesus, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
