So the king will desire your beauty, honor ʜɪᴍ, for ʜᴇ is your lord.


Y’all go out, you daughters of Zion, and see King Solomon, with the crown with which his mother crowned him, in the day of his wedding, in the day of the gladness of his heart.


For your Maker is your husband; YHWH Almighty is his name. The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He will be called the God of the whole earth.


For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.


“Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me,” says YHWH Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.


Then Jesus said to them, “All y’all will fall away because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’


Jesus said to them, “The guests of the bridegroom cannot mourn while the bridegroom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.


Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.


No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear becomes worse.


Then he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when y’all will long to see one of the days of the Son of Humanity, but y’all won’t see it.


But the time will come when the groom will be taken away from them, then in those days they will fast.”


For y’all will always have the poor among y’all, but y’all won’t always have me.”


Little children, I will be with y’all a little while longer. Y’all will look for me, and just as I said to the Jews I am telling y’all now, ‘Where I am going, y’all can’t come,’


I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”


Nevertheless I tell y’all the truth: It is to y’all’s advantage that I go away. For if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to y’all. But if I go, I will send ʜɪᴍ to y’all.


I am no longer in the world, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them through your name which you have given me, so that they may be one, even as we are one.


But now I am coming to you, and I say these things while I am in the world, so that they may be filled up with my joy.


The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the bridegroom’s friend, who stands by and listens for him, rejoices greatly when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made complete.


After he had said this, he was taken up while they were watching, and a cloud took him out of their sight.


Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting, they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
