Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t y’all be afraid. Y’all go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”


Y’all go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of y’all into Galilee. There y’all will see him.’ Listen, I have told y’all.”


However, after I have been raised, I will go ahead of y’all into Galilee.”


Then everyone left him and fled.


Then they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. [Many early manuscripts do not include the text of verses 9-20.]


After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. This is how he revealed himself:


and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are his witnesses to the people.

so instead, y’all should forgive and comfort them. Otherwise such a person might swallowed up with overwhelming grief.
