You saw until a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.


Because you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will happen hereafter. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”


and said, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”


Some stood up and gave false testimony against him, saying,


Yet even in this, their testimony didn’t agree.


Those who passed by insulted him, shaking their heads and saying, “Ha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,


Jesus answered them, “Y’all must destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”


However, the Most High doesn’t dwell in handmade structures. As the prophet says,


For we know that if our earthly house, the tent we live in, is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in the heavens, not made by human hands.


But when Christ came as a high priest of the good things to come, he went through a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,


For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands that was only a representation of the true one, but into heaven itself, now appearing for us in the presence of God.
