Abram fell on his face. God spoke to him, saying,


All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and YHWH’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to YHWH, saying, “For ʜᴇ is good, for ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness endures forever!”


He went a little farther, fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not what I will, but as you will.”


Then he came to his disciples and said to them, “Are y’all still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is approaching, and the Son of Humanity is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.


He came the third time and said to them, “Are y’all still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Humanity is betrayed into the hands of sinners.


He withdrew about a stone’s throw away from them, he knelt down, and prayed,


Jesus answered them, “The time has come for the Son of Humanity to be glorified.


I fell down before YHWH, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread or drink water, because of all y’all’s sin which y’all committed, doing what was evil in YHWH’s sight and provoking ʜɪᴍ to anger.


In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and petitions with strong cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.


the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives for ever and ever, and they throw their crowns before the throne, saying,


The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
