Blessed is the one who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.


He entered a boat, crossed over, and came into his own city.


If David himself calls him ‘Lord,’ then how can he be his son?” The large crowd heard him with delight.


When Jesus had crossed back over by boat to the other side, a great crowd gathered around him while he was by the seashore.


because Herod feared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and kept him safe. When he heard him, he was perplexed, yet he enjoyed listening to him.


They couldn’t find a way to do it, because all the people were hanging on him, listening.


He hurried, came down, and welcomed him joyfully.


Now Jesus was standing by the lake of Gennesaret, and the people were crowding around him to hear the word of God.


“Return to your home and tell the story of what great things God has done for you.” He set off, proclaiming throughout the whole town what great things Jesus had done for him.


He was a lamp that was burning and shining, and y’all were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.


So immediately, I sent for you, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the sight of God to hear all things that you have been commanded by the Lord.”
