He stretched himself on the child three times, and cried to YHWH and said, “YHWH my God, please let this child’s soul come into him again.”


YHWH listened to the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.


so man lies down and doesn’t rise. Until the heavens are no more, they will not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep.


If a man dies, will he live again? I would wait all the days of my warfare, until my release should come.


For ʜᴇ spoke, and it was done. Hᴇ commanded, and it stood firm.


Your dead will live. Their corpses will arise. Y’all are to awake and sing, those who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of the morning, and the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.


Taking the child by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum!” which translated means, “Little girl, I tell you, get up!”


When the Lord saw her, he felt gut-wrenching sympathy for her and said to her, “Don’t cry.”


The dead man sat up and began to speak, and then Jesus gave him to his mother.


This news about him spread throughout all of Judea and the surrounding region.


Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.


For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he wishes.


Truly I tell y’all, the hour is coming and is present, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice, and those who hear will live.


As it is written, “I have made you a father of many ethnic groups.” This is in the presence of the one in whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead and summons into being things that do not yet exist.


For it is shameful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
