You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore God has blessed you forever.


In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds.


The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked is perverse.


The wise in heart are called prudent. Pleasant speech increases persuasiveness.


A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.


The words of a wise person’s mouth are gracious; but a fool is swallowed by their own lips.


His mouth is sweetness; yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem.


Lord YHWH has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary. He awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.


Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

The officers answered, “No one ever spoke like this man!”


Yet they weren’t able to stand up against the wisdom and the Spirit by whom he spoke.


and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed, because they have nothing bad to say about us.
