Ask of me, and I will give the nations as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your possession.


I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.


They discussed this among themselves, saying, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.”


Where did the baptism of John come from? From heaven or of human origin?” They discussed it among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Then why didn’t y’all believe him?’


When harvest time came near, he sent his servants to the tenants to receive his fruit.


He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people were trying to destroy him.


The owner of the vineyard said, ‘What should I do? I will send my beloved son. Perhaps they will respect him.’


So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. “What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?


The scribes and chief priests wanted to arrest him that very hour, because they knew he had spoken this parable against them. But they feared the people.


They discussed among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why didn’t y’all believe him?’


The chief priests and the scribes were seeking a way to eliminate Jesus, because they were afraid of the people.


This man was handed over by the marked out plan and foreknowledge of God, and y’all executed him using lawless people to nail him to the cross.


Y’all killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead. We are witnesses of this.


And if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ if we suffer with him, so that we may also be glorified with him.


but in these last days, ʜᴇ has spoken to us by ʜɪꜱ Son, whom ʜᴇ appointed heir of all things, and through whom ʜᴇ also made the universe.
