So Satan went out from the presence of YHWH, and struck Job with painful sores from the sole of his foot to his head.


Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but YHWH delivers him out of them all.


For all day long I have been plagued, and punished every morning.


From the sole of the foot to the head there is no soundness, only wounds, welts, and open sores. They haven’t been closed, bandaged, or soothed with oil.


Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then isn’t the health of the daughter of my people recovered?


When he had gone out onto the porch, another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”


“There was a rich man who dressed in purple and fine linen, happily living in luxury every day.


He longed to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table, but instead the dogs came and licked his sores.


Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus from Bethany, of the village of Mary and her sister, Martha.


A man who was lame from birth was being carried the door of the temple which is called Beautiful. He was laid there every day to beg for alms from those who entered into the temple.


Let the sibling in humble circumstances take pride in their high position,


Y’all listen, my beloved siblings. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the empire which ʜᴇ promised to those who love ʜɪᴍ?


He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to make them sit with princes and inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are YHWH’s. He has set the world on them.
