Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother called Mary, and his brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?


Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, the son of Alphaeus. Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot,


Isn’t this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judah, and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” So they were offended by him.


Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.


If anyone serves me, let them follow me. Where I am, there my deacon will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor them.


Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are about to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”


Y’all didn’t choose me, but I chose y’all and appointed y’all so that y’all would go and bear fruit, and that y’all’s fruit should remain. And so that whatever y’all ask in my name, the Father will give to y’all.


I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would protect them from the evil one.


Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.


For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves may also be sanctified in truth.


This is the will of ʜɪᴍ who sent me, that I should lose none of those ʜᴇ has given to me, but raise them up at the last day.

Such were some of y’all. But y’all were washed, y’all were sanctified, y’all were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

imploring y’all to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls y’all into ʜɪꜱ own empire and glory.


May the God of peace ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ sanctify y’all completely. May y’all’s whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not through our works, but through ʜɪꜱ own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,


The Lord will deliver me from every evil act and will save me to ʜɪꜱ heavenly empire. To ʜɪᴍ be the glory forever and ever. Amen.


Therefore, holy siblings, partakers of a heavenly calling, y’all must fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we confess as our Apostle and High Priest.


James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad: Greetings.


according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be multiplied to y’all.


who by the power of God are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.


But y’all are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy ethnic group, a people of God’s own possession, that y’all may proclaim the virtues of ʜɪᴍ who called y’all out of darkness into ʜɪꜱ marvelous light.


But after y’all have suffered a little while, may the God of all grace, who called y’all to his eternal glory in Christ, restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish y’all.


Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have received a faith as precious as ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:


Keep yourselves* in God’s love, while anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.


Beloved, while I was very eager to write to y’all about our common salvation, I felt compelled to write exhorting y’all to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
