YHWH is in ʜɪꜱ holy temple. YHWH is on ʜɪꜱ throne in heaven. Hɪꜱ eyes observe. Hɪꜱ eyelids squint to examine the children of humankind.


He answered, “I am telling y’all, if they keep silent, the stones will cry out.”


Joshua said to all the people, “Look, this stone will be a witness against us, for it has heard all YHWH’s words which ʜᴇ spoke to us. It will be therefore a witness against y’all, so that y’all won’t deny y’all’s God.”


When the soles of the feet of the priests who carry the ark of YHWH, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan will be cut off. The waters coming downstream will stand in one heap.”


Then Joshua called the twelve men whom he had appointed from the children of Israel, one man from every tribe.


The children of Israel did as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out from the middle of the Jordan, as YHWH spoke to Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel. They carried them over with them to the place where they camped, and put them down there.


Then Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, “YHWH helped us until now.”
