When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly, a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”


He came to a cave there, and camped there. Suddenly, the word of YHWH came to him, and ʜᴇ said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”


I was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness and struck him. I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.


If I say that I will not make mention of him, or speak any more in his name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones. I am weary with holding it in. I can’t.


The sailors were afraid, and every man cried out to his god. They threw the ship’s cargo into the sea to lighten the ship. But Jonah had gone below deck, and he was lying down in a deep sleep.


YHWH said, “Is it right for you to be angry?”


Then YHWH God appointed a vine and made it to come up over Jonah, so that it would be a shade over his head to deliver him from his discomfort. So Jonah was massively glad because of the vine.
