What warrior can live and not see death, who can deliver their soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.


Truly I tell y’all, there are some standing here who will not taste of death until they see the Son of Humanity coming in his empire.”


It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.


Jesus answered him, “Anyone who loves me will keep my word. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with that person.


Remember what I told y’all: ‘A servant is not greater than his lord.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute y’all. If they obey my word, they will obey y’all’s too.


“I revealed your name to the humans whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.


“Truly I tell y’all, whoever hears my word and believes ʜɪᴍ who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.


This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so anyone may eat it and not die.


Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”


Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon! Abraham died, and so did the prophets, yet you say, ‘If anyone keeps my word, they will never taste of death.’


Y’all have not known ʜɪᴍ, but I know ʜɪᴍ. If I said, ‘I don’t know ʜɪᴍ,’ I would be a liar like y’all. But I know ʜɪᴍ and keep ʜɪꜱ word.


By faith Enoch was taken up so that he wouldn’t see death, and he was not found, because God took him up. For before he was taken up, he was given a testimony that he was pleasing to God.


But we see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, that by the grace of God he might taste death on behalf of everyone.
