They also brought barley and straw for the horses and swift steeds to the place where the officers were, each man according to his duty.


Elisha said, “Y’all must listen the word of YHWH. YHWH says, ‘About this time tomorrow a seah of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.’”

Yes, they spoke against God. They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?


They turned again and tempted God, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

“‘“Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded wheat of Minnith, confections, honey, oil, and balm for your merchandise.


They told him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

He said to them, “How many loaves do y’all have? Go look!” When they found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.”


when I broke the five loaves among the five thousand? How many baskets full of broken pieces did y’all take up?” They told him, “Twelve.”


But he told them, “Y’all give them something to eat!” They said, “We only have five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”


Then Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother wouldn’t have died.


When Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell down at his feet and said to him, “Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn’t have died.”


Jesus said to them, “Y’all bring some of the fish that y’all just caught.”


Then Jesus came, took the bread, and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.


When they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals with fish laid on it, and bread.


Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed them to those who were sitting down. He did likewise with the fish, as much as they desired.


Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for everyone to receive even a little.”


For y’all know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, he became poor for y’all’s sake, so that through his poverty y’all might become rich.
