Look on my right, and see; for there is no one who is concerned for me. Refuge has fled from me. No one cares for my soul.


For he will deliver the needy who cry out; the poor, who has no helper.


Now in Jerusalem by the sheep gate, there is a pool, which in Hebrew is called Bethesda and which has five covered walkways.


In these, a large crowd of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed were lying.


When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been sick for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to be made well?”


For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.


Don’t y’all know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? Y’all should run to win.


For YHWH will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that their power is gone, that there is no one remaining, shut up or left at large.
