Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew the tax collector, James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus,


Going on a little further from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat mending the nets.


and so were Simon’s partners, James and John, sons of Zebedee. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching humans.”


Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law and the prophets also wrote about—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”


Therefore, Thomas (also known as Didymus) said to his fellow disciples, “Let’s also go, that we may die with him.”
