Yours, YHWH, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, YHWH, and you are exalted as head above all.


I was mute. I didn’t open my mouth, because you did it.


God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, Power belongs to God.


Who is he who says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord doesn’t command it?


“‘The sentence is by the decree of the watchers and the demand by the word of the holy ones, to the intent that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will, and sets up over it the lowest of men.’


You will be driven from men and your dwelling will be with the animals of the field. You will be made to eat grass as oxen, and will be wet with the dew of the sky, and seven times will pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.


You will be driven away from humankind, and your dwelling will be with the animals of the field. You will be made to eat grass like oxen. Seven times will pass by you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of humankind, and gives it to whomever ʜᴇ will.’”


All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him, “What are you doing?”


He was driven from the sons of men, and his heart was made like the animals’, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the sky, until he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and that he sets up over it whomever he will.


Then the high priest tore his clothing, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? See, now you have heard his blasphemy.


They bound him, led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate, the governor.


And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.


Now his betrayer had given them a signal, saying, “Whomever I will kiss, he is the one. Y’all arrest him, and y’all lead him away under guard.”


Every day I was with y’all in the temple, and y’all never laid a hand on me. But this is y’all’s hour, and this is the reign of darkness.”

So Judas obtained a detachment of soldiers and some officers of the chief priests and the Pharisees. They came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.


So Pilate said to him, “You aren’t speaking to me? Don’t you know that I have the power to release you and the power to crucify you?”


John answered, “No human can receive anything unless it has been given to them from heaven.


At this, they tried to take him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.


Jesus said to them, “If y’all were blind, y’all would have no sin. But because y’all say, ‘We see,’ y’all’s sin remains.


This man was handed over by the marked out plan and foreknowledge of God, and y’all executed him using lawless people to nail him to the cross.


The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom y’all handed over and disowned before Pilate, after he had decided to set him free.


to do whatever your hand and your will predestined to happen.


For of ʜɪᴍ and through him and to ʜɪᴍ are all things. To ʜɪᴍ be the glory forever! Amen.


Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and the authorities who exist are established by God.


Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.


Therefore, whoever knows what is excellent to do but doesn’t do it, that is sin for them.
