After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.


You will not be called “Forsaken” any more, nor will your land be called “Desolate” any more; but you will be called “My Delight Is In Her,” and your land “Married”; for YHWH delights in you, and your land will be married.


Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”


This city will be to me for a name of joy, for praise, and for glory, before all the nations of the earth, which will hear all the good that I do to them, and will fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I provide to it.’”


YHWH, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.


Y’all bring the fattened calf, kill it. Let’s eat and celebrate!


But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found.’”


When he has found it, he joyfully places it on his shoulders,


When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Y’all rejoice with me, for I have found my lost coin!’


Until now, y’all have asked nothing in my name. Y’all should ask, and y’all will receive, so that y’all’s joy may be complete.


I have told y’all these things so that in me y’all may have peace. In the world y’all have oppression, but cheer up! I have conquered the world.”


But now I am coming to you, and I say these things while I am in the world, so that they may be filled up with my joy.


The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the bridegroom’s friend, who stands by and listens for him, rejoices greatly when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made complete.


Now may the God of hope fill y’all with all joy and peace in believing, so that y’all may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.


Not that we lord it over y’all’s faith, but are colaborers with y’all for your* joy, because it is by faith y’all stand firm.


Y’all must not get drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead y’all should be filled with the Spirit,


Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with all y’all for your* progress and joy in the faith,


Though y’all haven’t seen him, y’all love him. And though y’all don’t see him now, through believing in him, y’all rejoice greatly with inexpressible and glorious joy,


We write these things to you so that our joy may be complete.


Though I have many things to write to y’all, I don’t want to use paper and ink. Instead I hope to come to y’all and speak face to face so that our joy may be made complete.
