and said to his servants, “This is John the Baptizer. He is risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”


They found him and told him, “Everyone is looking for you.”


Meanwhile, a crowd of many thousands had gathered together, so that they were trampling on one other. Jesus began to tell his disciples first, “Y’all beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.


Now Jesus was standing by the lake of Gennesaret, and the people were crowding around him to hear the word of God.


He is the one who comes after me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to untie.”


This was the first the of signs Jesus did. In Cana of Galilee he revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.
