At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.


At the return of the year, King Nebuchadnezzar sent and brought him to Babylon, with the valuable vessels of the house of YHWH, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.

The cities of the South are shut up, and there is no one to open them. Judah is carried away captive: all of them. They are completely taken into exile.

Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the remainder of the exiled elders, the priests, the prophets, and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon.

This is what ʜᴇ showed me: the Lord stood beside a wall made by a plumb line, with a plumb line in ʜɪꜱ hand.


He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of YHWH, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.
