The Jews had light, gladness, joy, and honor.


For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin.


You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.


He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.


There is a generation that is pure in their own eyes, yet are not washed from their filthiness.


“So is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, and says, ‘I have done nothing wrong.’


YHWH says to this people: “Even so they have loved to wander. They have not restrained their feet. Therefore YHWH does not accept them. Now ʜᴇ will remember their iniquity, and punish them for their sins.”


It will happen, when you tell this people all these words, and they ask you, ‘Why has YHWH pronounced all this great evil against us?’ or ‘What is our iniquity?’ or ‘What is our sin that we have committed against YHWH our God?’


Why do you go about so much to change your ways? You will be ashamed of Egypt also, as you were ashamed of Assyria.


“Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat waiting for them by the road, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.


How long will you go here and there, you backsliding daughter? For YHWH has created a new thing in the earth: a woman will encompass a man.”
