8 For they will be like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out its roots by the river. It does not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t stop bearing fruit.

He is green before the sun. His shoots go out along his garden.


That person will be like a tree planted by streams of water, that produces its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever they do prospers.


The one who trusts in their riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.


and YHWH will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.


to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YHWH, that he may be glorified.
