In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria for twenty years.


Y’all will not have to fight this battle. Take your* positions, stand still, and see the salvation of YHWH with y’all, Judah and Jerusalem. Y’all must be afraid or be dismayed. Go out against them tomorrow, for YHWH is with y’all.’”


Therefore the Lord, YHWH Almighty, says, “My people who dwell in Zion, don’t be afraid of the Assyrian, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did.


For thus said Lord YHWH, the Holy One of Israel, “In repentance and rest y’all will be saved. In quietness and trust is y’all’s strength.” But y’all refused,


For Egypt helps in vain, and to no purpose; therefore I have called her Rahab who sits still.


Y’all are to tell those who have a fearful heart, “Y’all be strong! Don’t be afraid! Look, y’all’s God will come with vengeance, God’s retribution is coming. Hᴇ will come and save y’all.


Isaiah said to them, “Y’all are to tell y’all’s master, ‘YHWH says, “You must not be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.


Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says YHWH. “Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.


In the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.


For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty-five years Ephraim will be broken in pieces, so that it will not be a people.


The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If y’all won’t stand firm in your faith, y’all won’t not stand at all.’”


For before the child knows how to say, ‘My father’ or ‘My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried away by the king of Assyria.”


“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son,


It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of YHWH.


“I have overthrown some of y’all, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and y’all were like a burning stick plucked out of the fire, yet y’all haven’t returned to me,” says YHWH.


For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it, because it will surely come. It won’t delay.


YHWH said to Satan, “YHWH rebuke you, Satan! Yes, YHWH who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?”


Don’t y’all be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, y’all should fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.


Y’all will hear of wars and rumors of wars. But y’all see to it that you* aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but that is not yet the end.


and tell them, “Listen, Israel, today y’all are going into battle against y’all’s enemies. Y’all must not be weak-hearted! Y’all must not be afraid, or tremble, or be terrified because of them;


David said to Saul, “Let no one’s heart fail because of him. Your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”
