The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. The obedience of the peoples will be to him.


He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.


‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build up your throne to all generations.’” Selah.


He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.


Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field.


“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham my friend,


you whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its corners, and said to you, ‘You are my servant. I have chosen you and have not cast you away.’


He will not shout, nor raise his voice, nor cause it to be heard in the street.


“Y’all are my witnesses,” says YHWH, “With my servant whom I have chosen, so that y’all would know and believe me, and understand that I am ʜᴇ. No God was formed before me, and there will be none after me.


Who among y’all fears YHWH and obeys the voice of ʜɪꜱ servant? Let the one who walks in darkness and has no light, trust in the name of YHWH, and rely on his God.


Look, my servant will deal wisely. He will be exalted and lifted up, and will be very high.


After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.


“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says YHWH. “My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth will not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your offspring, nor out of the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says YHWH, “from now on and forever.”


The Spirit of Lord YHWH is on me, because YHWH has anointed me to bring good news to the humble. He has sent me to bandage the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners,


Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”


In that day, says YHWH Almighty, I will take you, Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel,’ says YHWH, ‘and will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’ says YHWH Almighty.”


Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you, are men who are a sign that I will bring out my servant, the Branch.


For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name will be great among the nations. In every place incense and a pure offering will be offered to my name, for my name will be great among the nations,” says YHWH Almighty.


While he was still speaking, a bright cloud suddenly overshadowed them. A voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”


and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased.”


“The Spirit of the Lord [YHWH] is on me, because ʜᴇ has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. Hᴇ has sent me to proclaim freedom for the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed,


and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s [YHWH] favor.”


A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him, y’all!”


Look! A time is coming and has already come, when y’all will be scattered, each to their own place, and y’all will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.


For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without measure.


Y’all shouldn’t work for food that perishes, but for the food that endures toward eternal life, which the Son of Humanity will give y’all. For God the Father has sealed him.”


how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who under the power of the devil, because God was with him.


When they heard this, they ceased their objections and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted repentance to life even to the ethnic groups!”


“Therefore let it be known to y’all that the salvation of God has been sent to the other ethnic groups, and they will listen.”


But the Lord said to him, “Go, for this man is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the ethnic groups, the kings, and the children of Israel.


just as ʜᴇ chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before ʜɪᴍ in love,


to the praise of the glory of ʜɪꜱ grace, by which ʜᴇ freely gave us favor in the Beloved.


This grace was given to me, the very least of all saints, to announce the unsearchable riches of Christ to the ethnic groups,


but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being made in human likeness.


who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and brought us into the empire of ʜɪꜱ beloved Son,


As y’all come to him, the living stone, rejected by humans but chosen and precious to God,


For this is upheld in Scripture, “See, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. The one who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
