So David assembled all Israel together, from the Shihor River of Egypt even to the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.


The meadows by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all the sown fields of the Nile, will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.


Who has planned this against Tyre, the giver of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are the honorable of the earth?


Blessed are y’all who sow beside all waters, who send out the feet of the ox and the donkey.


Now what do you gain by going to Egypt, to drink the waters of the Shihor? Or why do you to go on the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?


When your wares came from the seas, you filled many peoples. You enriched the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.


By your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasuries.


Because y’all have taken my silver and my gold, and y’all have carried my finest treasures into y’all’s temples,


For the land y’all are going in to possess isn’t like the land of Egypt where y’all came from, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs.
