David reigned over all Israel, and David executed justice and righteousness for all his people.


He will not depart out of darkness. The flame will dry up his branches. He will go away by the breath of God’s mouth.


By the breath of God they perish. By the blast of ʜɪꜱ anger are they consumed.


YHWH will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule among your enemies.


Smoke ascended from ʜɪꜱ nostrils. A devouring fire came from ʜɪꜱ mouth, and coals were kindled by it.


You will break them with a rod of iron. You will dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”


Surely the wrath of humanity praises you. With the remnant of your of your wrath you are clothed.


Y’all must learn to do what is good. Y’all must meek justice, and relieve the oppressed. Y’all must defend the fatherless, and plead the case of the widow.”


I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity. I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will humble the arrogance of the terrible.


The firstborn of the poor will eat, and the needy will lie down in safety; and I will kill your root with famine, and your remnant will be killed.


A throne will be established in lovingkindness. One will sit on it in truth, in the tent of David, judging, seeking justice, and swift to do righteousness.


He will judge between the nations, and will decide concerning many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.


The foot will trample it down, the feet of the poor and the steps of the needy.”


The humble also will increase their joy in YHWH, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.


YHWH enters into judgment against the elders and leaders of ʜɪꜱ people: “Y’all have ruined the vineyard. The plunder of the poor is in y’all’s houses.


Hɪꜱ breath is as an overflowing stream that reaches even to the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction. A bridle that leads to ruin will be in the jaws of the peoples.


For through YHWH’s voice the Assyrian will be dismayed. He will strike him with his rod.


For his burning place has long been ready. Yes, it is prepared for the king. He has made its pyre deep and large with fire and much wood. YHWH’s breath, like a stream of sulfur, kindles it.


Look, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice.


The ways of the scoundrel are evil. He devises wicked plans to destroy the humble with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.


For YHWH is our judge. YHWH is our lawgiver. YHWH is our king. He will save us.


The grass withers, and the flower fades, because breath of YHWH blows on them. Surely the people are like grass.


He has made my mouth like a sharp sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. He has made me a polished shaft. He has kept me close in his quiver.


The Spirit of Lord YHWH is on me, because YHWH has anointed me to bring good news to the humble. He has sent me to bandage the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners,


Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of YHWH Almighty will perform this.


“In those days and at that time, I will cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up to David. He will execute justice and righteousness in the land.


They have grown fat. They shine; yes, they excel in deeds of wickedness. They don’t plead the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and they don’t defend the rights of the needy.


Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.


Y’all should seek YHWH, all you humble of the land, who have kept ʜɪꜱ ordinances. Y’all must seek righteousness, and y’all must seek humility. Perhaps y’all will be hidden in the day of YHWH’s anger.


He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and strike the earth with a curse.”


the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news preached to them.


Blessed are the gentle, for they will inherit the earth.

Who among y’all is wise and understanding? Let them show it by their excellent behavior and works done in the gentleness that comes from wisdom.

I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse. The one who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and wages war.


Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword that with it he should strike the ethnic groups. He will shepherd them with an iron rod. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.


Therefore, you must repent! Otherwise, I am coming to you soon, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
