Hosea 8:2

He said, “Come with me, and see my zeal for YHWH.” So they made him ride in his chariot.


However, Jehu didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin—the golden calves that were in Bethel and that were in Dan.


Y’all must not trust in words of deceptive and say, ‘This is the temple of YHWH, the temple of YHWH, the temple of YHWH.’


I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.”


Israel has cast off that which is good. The enemy will pursue him.


Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money; yet they lean on YHWH, and say, “Isn’t YHWH among us? No disaster will come on us.”


Later the other virgins came back, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’


“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Empire of Heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.


Once the master of the house gets up and has shuts the door, y’all will stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up for us!’ But he will answer y’all, ‘I don’t know y’all or where y’all come from.’


They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny ʜɪᴍ. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.


The one who says, “I know him,” and yet doesn’t keep ʜɪꜱ commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in that person.
