Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel now say:


Y’all have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I carried y’all on eagles’ wings, and brought y’all to myself.


You are to tell Pharaoh, ‘YHWH says, Israel is my son, my firstborn,


and I told you, “Let my son go, so that he may serve me,” but you have refused to let him go. See now, I will kill your firstborn son.’”


Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you, therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.


“I have forsaken my house. I have cast off my heritage. I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.


“Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘YHWH says, “I remember for you the kindness of your youth, your love as a bride, how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.


In all your abominations and your prostitution you have not remembered the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, and were wallowing in your blood.


“‘“When I passed by you, and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you, ‘Though you are in your blood, live!’ Yes, I said to you, ‘Though you are in your blood, live!’


So Bethel will do to y’all because of y’all’s wicked wickedness. At daybreak the king of Israel will be destroyed-destroyed.


By a prophet YHWH brought Israel up out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.


“But I am YHWH your God from the land of Egypt. I will yet again make you dwell in tents, as in the days of the solemn feast.


“Yet I have been YHWH your God since the land of Egypt. You are to acknowledge no god but me, and besides me there is no savior.


I will give her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; and she will respond there as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.


“I have loved y’all,” says YHWH. Yet y’all say, “How have you loved us?” “Wasn’t Esau Jacob’s brother?” says YHWH. “Yet I have loved Jacob,


and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”


Yes, ʜᴇ loves the people. All ʜɪꜱ saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Each receives your words.


YHWH favored y’all and choose y’all, not because y’all were great in number than any people, for y’all were the fewest of all peoples,
