Seven days you are to make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it, and the altar will be most holy. Whatever touches the altar will be holy.


Dead flies cause the oil of the perfumer to produce an evil odor; so does a little folly outweigh wisdom and honor.


When they go out into the outer court, even into the outer court to the people, they are to take off the clothes they minister in and leave them in the holy rooms. They are to put on other garments, so that they do not sanctify the people with their garments.


Whatever touches its flesh will be holy. When there is any of its blood sprinkled on a garment, you are to wash that on which it was sprinkled in a holy place.


Every male among the priests is to eat of it. It is most holy.
