YHWH God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed beyond all cattle, and above every living thing of the field. You will go on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.


Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.


Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.


The sons of Noah who went out from the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham was the father of Canaan.


Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.


When Noah awoke from his wine, he knew what his youngest son had done to him.


Then he will say to those on the left, ‘Depart from me, y’all who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels;


Jesus answered them, “Very truly I tell y’all, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.


‘Cursed is anyone who dishonors his father or his mother.’ All the people will say, ‘Amen.’


The fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock will be cursed.


Y’all are now under a curse, and some of y’all will never cease being slaves: wood cutters and water carriers for the house of my God.”


That day Joshua made them wood cutters and water carriers for the congregation and for the altar of YHWH to this day, in the place which he should choose.
