Dan will be a serpent on the trail, an adder in the path, that bites the horse’s heels, so that his rider falls backward.


I have hoped for your salvation, YHWH. I have done your commandments.


I have longed for your salvation, YHWH. Your law is my delight.


Let your lovingkindness also come to me, YHWH, your salvation, according to your word.


Look, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to YHWH, our God, until ʜᴇ has mercy on us.


I wait for YHWH. My soul waits. I hope in ʜɪꜱ word.


Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When YHWH restores the fortunes of ʜɪꜱ people, then Jacob will rejoice, and Israel will be glad.


I waited patiently for YHWH. Hᴇ turned to me, and heard my cry.


My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from ʜɪᴍ.


My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my hope is from ʜɪᴍ.


Show us your lovingkindness, YHWH. Grant us your salvation.


Y’H is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.


The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.


It will be said in that day, “Look, this is our God! We have waited for ʜɪᴍ, and ʜᴇ will save us! This is YHWH! We have waited for ʜɪᴍ. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”


And yet YHWH will wait, so that ʜᴇ may be gracious to y’all. Hᴇ will rise up to have compassion on y’all. For YHWH is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for ʜɪᴍ.


YHWH, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.


Now, please make a bargain with my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to set riders on them.

But if we hope for what we don’t see, we wait for it patiently.


For we through the Spirit, by faith, wait expectantly for the hope of righteousness.


and to wait for ʜɪꜱ Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead: Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.
