“Issachar is a strong donkey, lying down between the saddlebags.


“Dan will judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.


When the king lived in his house, and YHWH had given him rest from all his enemies all around,


“I removed the burden from his shoulder. His hands were freed from the basket.


The hands of the diligent will rule, but laziness leads to slave labor.


“The Assyrian will fall by the sword, not of man; and the sword not of humankind will devour him. He will flee from the sword, and his young men will become subject to forced labor.


“Son of humanity, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet he had no wages, nor did his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.


They tie up heavy, grievous burdens and lay them on the shoulders of humans, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
