Abimelech said, “Look, my land is before you. Dwell where it pleases you.”


Their words pleased Hamor and Shechem, Hamor’s son.


“Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.


The thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.


He kissed all his brothers, and wept on them. After that his brothers talked with him.


Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Y’all do this: Load y’all’s animals, and go, travel to the land of Canaan.


All the people took notice of it, and it pleased them, as whatever the king did pleased all the people.


The proposal was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.


This advice pleased the king and the princes, and the king did according to the word of Memucan:


and let the maiden who pleases the king be queen instead of Vashti.” The thing pleased the king, and he did so.

On the second visit, Joseph revealed himself to his brothers, and Joseph’s family became known to Pharaoh.
