At the end of two full years, Pharaoh had a dream: there he was, standing by the river.


Then the chief cup bearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “I remember my faults today.


The king said, “What honor and dignity has been given to Mordecai for this?” Then the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.”


My relatives have gone away. My familiar friends have forgotten me.


until the time that his word happened, and the word of YHWH proved him true.


I am forgotten from their hearts like a dead man. I am like broken pottery.


For I have heard the slander of many, terror on every side, while they conspire together against me, they plot to take away my life.


who drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the best oils, but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
