But God came to Abimelech in a dream of the night, and said to him, “You are about to be a dead man, because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is married to another man.”


He dreamed and saw a stairway set upon the earth, and its top reached to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.


During mating season, I lifted up my eyes, and saw in a dream, the male goats which were mating with the flock were streaked, speckled, and grizzled.


The angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am.’


His brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, and they hated him and couldn’t speak peaceably to him.


He said to them, “Please y’all, listen to the dream which I have dreamed:


His brothers asked him, “Are you going to reign-reign over us? Will you really rule-rule over us?” They hated him all the more for his dreams and his words.


Then the cup bearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison, both dreamed a dream the same night, each man with his own dream and each dream with its own interpretation.


At the end of two full years, Pharaoh had a dream: there he was, standing by the river.


Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed about them, and said to them, “Y’all are spies! Y’all have come to see the vulnerable parts of our land.”


The archers have severely grieved him, shot at him, and persecuted him:

He said, “Now y’all listen to my words. If there is a prophet among y’all, I, YHWH, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.


I have given them your word. The world hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
