Laban had two daughters. The name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.


He went in also to Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more than Leah, and served with him seven more years.


Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and there was Esau coming, along with four hundred men. He divided the children between Leah, Rachel, and the two servants.


He himself passed over in front of them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.


Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age, and he made an ornate rob for him.


Y’all’s mother will be greatly shamed. She who bore y’all will be confounded. Look! She will be the least of the nations, a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.


”They will be mine,” says YHWH Almighty, “on the day when I prepare my own possession. I will spare them just as a man spares his own son who serves him.
