Make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.”


Rebekah spoke to Jacob her son, saying, “Look, I heard your father speak to Esau your brother, saying,

This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.


Joshua commanded them with an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed is the man before YHWH who rises up and builds this city Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn he will lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he will set up its gates.”
