How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house on his bed, should I not now require his blood from y’all’s hand, and rid the earth of y’all?”


David said to God, “Isn’t it I who commanded the people to be counted? It is even I who have sinned and done performed evil-evil. But these sheep, what have they done? Please let your hand, O YHWH my God, be against me and against my father’s house, but not against your people, that they should be plagued.”
