Now this is the history of the generations of Terah. Terah became the father of Abram, Nahor, and Haran. Haran became the father of Lot.


I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you. I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.


God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her, and opened her womb.


But God remembered Noah and all the animals and all the livestock that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.


Remember me, my God, concerning this, and don’t wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for its observances.


I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me for this also, my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your lovingkindness.


Your wickedness affects a person like you, and your righteousness may profit a son of man.


For ʜᴇ remembered ʜɪꜱ holy word, with Abraham, his servant.


Hᴇ has remembered ʜɪꜱ covenant forever, the word which ʜᴇ commanded to a thousand generations,


Remember me, YHWH, when you show favor to your people. Attend to me with your salvation,


Hᴇ remembered us in our low estate, for ʜɪꜱ lovingkindness endures forever,


YHWH preserves all those who love ʜɪᴍ, but ʜᴇ will destroy all the wicked.


Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your lovingkindness, for your goodness’ sake, YHWH.


though these three men were in it, as I live,” says Lord YHWH, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They only would be delivered, but the land would be desolate.

Remember your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Don’t look at the stubbornness of this people, or their wickedness, or their sin.


Not because of your righteousness or because of the uprightness of your heart will you go in to possess their land. Instead it is because of the wickedness of these nations that YHWH your God drive them out from before you, and so that ʜᴇ might establish the word which YHWH swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.


and if ʜᴇ rescued righteous Lot, who was distressed by the lifestyle of sensuality of the lawless
