What if there are fifty righteous within the city? Will you consume and not spare the place for the fifty righteous who are in it?


See now, this city is near to flee to, and it is small. Oh let me escape there (isn’t it a small?), and my soul will live.”


Hurry, escape there, for I can’t do anything until you get there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.


If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”


Hᴇ has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.


Hᴇ will fulfill the desire of those who fear ʜɪᴍ. Hᴇ also will hear their cry, and will save them.


The eyes of YHWH are on the righteous. Hɪꜱ ears listen to their cry.


YHWH said to Moses, “I will do this thing also that you have spoken; for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”


YHWH says to this people: “Even so they have loved to wander. They have not restrained their feet. Therefore YHWH does not accept them. Now ʜᴇ will remember their iniquity, and punish them for their sins.”


A bruised reed he won’t break, And a smoldering wick he won’t snuff out, until he leads justice to victory.


I tell y’all, although he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his shameless persistence, he will get up and give him as much as he needs.


Therefore he had to be made like his siblings in every way, so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.


So David received from her hand that which she had brought him. Then he said to her, “Go up in peace to your house. See, I have listened to your voice and have granted your request.”
