One who had escaped came and told Abram, the Hebrew. At that time, he lived by the oaks of Mamre, the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner. They were allies of Abram.


all the valiant men arose and took away the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.


Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.


Therefore, whatever y’all want humans to do for y’all, y’all should do for them, for this is the law and the prophets.


For the Scripture says, “Do not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain.” And, “The worker is worthy of their wages.”
