You whose clothing is warm when the earth is still by reason of the south wind?


Out of its room comes the storm, and cold out of the north.


For ʜᴇ commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up its waves.


Hᴇ makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.


All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full. To the place where the rivers flow, there they flow again.


As you don’t know what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child; even so you don’t know the work of God who does all.


But YHWH sent out a massive wind on the sea, and there was such a massive storm on the sea that the ship threatened to break up.


“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken them to a wise person who built their house on a rock.


The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell—and its fall was great.”


The wind blows where it wants to. You hear its sound but don’t know where it comes from or where it’s going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
