YHWH said to Moses, “Look, I am going to come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever.” Moses told the words of the people to YHWH.


YHWH said to Moses, “This is what you are to tell the children of Israel: ‘Y’all have seen that I have spoken to y’all from heaven.


When y’all turn to the right hand or the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way. Y’all are to walk in it.”


With whom will y’all compare God? Or what likeness will y’all set next to ʜɪᴍ?


The voice of one who calls out, “Y’all prepare the way of YHWH in the wilderness! Y’all make a straight highway in the desert for our God.


A voice says, “Call out!” Another said, “What should I call out?” “All flesh is like grass, and all its goodness is like the flower of the field.


With him, I will speak mouth to mouth, clearly, not in riddles; and he will see the form of YHWH. Why then were y’all not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”


While he was still speaking, a bright cloud suddenly overshadowed them. A voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”


And a voice from the heavens said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”


For this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Y’all prepare the way of the Lord [YHWH]! Y’all make his paths straight!’”


Hᴇ wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which YHWH spoke to y’all on the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. Then YHWH gave them to me.


Y’all came near and stood under the mountain. The mountain burned with fire to the heart of the sky, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.


Hᴇ declared ʜɪꜱ covenant to y’all, which ʜᴇ commanded y’all to follow, that is the Ten Commandments. Hᴇ wrote them on two stone tablets.


Y’all must guard y’all’s souls carefully, because y’all did not see any form on the day that YHWH spoke to y’all in Horeb from the fire,


Did a people ever hear the voice of God speaking out from fire, as you have heard, and live?


Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you. On earth he made you to see his great fire; and you heard his words out of the middle of the fire.


YHWH spoke these words to y’all’s entire assembly on the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice. Hᴇ added no more. Hᴇ wrote them on two stone tablets, and gave them to me.


YHWH spoke with y’all face to face on the mountain from midst of the fire,


YHWH delivered to me the two stone tablets written with the finger of God. On them were all the words which YHWH spoke to y’all on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly.


The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.


or to the sound of a trumpet and the sound of words which those who heard begged to hear no more,
