The sun rose on him as he passed over Peniel, and he limped because of his thigh.


Moses said, “I will go now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.”


Suddenly, one in the likeness of the children of humanity touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me, “My lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows have overtaken me, and I retain no strength.


For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? For as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me. There was no breath left in me.”


“Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts troubled me greatly, and my face was changed in me; but I kept the matter in my heart.”


I, Daniel, fainted, and was sick for some days. Then I rose up and did the king’s business. I wondered at the vision, but no one understood it.


I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and struck the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to stand before him; but he cast him down to the ground and trampled on him. There was no one who could deliver the ram out of his hand.


I heard, and my body trembled. My lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness enters into my bones, and I tremble in my place because I must wait quietly for the day of trouble, for the coming up of the people who invade us.


When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.


(He didn’t know what to say, they were so afraid.)


Look! A time is coming and has already come, when y’all will be scattered, each to their own place, and y’all will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.


and because of the immeasurable greatness of the revelations. Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, I was given a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I would not exalt myself.


When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though I were dead. He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
