Then Jesus left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”


Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.”


So he got up and went. There he saw an Ethiopian man, a eunuch and high official of Kandake (queen of the Ethiopians), who was over her entire treasury. He had gone to Jerusalem to worship,


In his humiliation, his justice was taken away. Who will explain his generation? For his life is taken away from the earth.”


Then Philip opened his mouth and, beginning from this Scripture, told him the good news about Jesus.
