Y’all are not to take any gold, silver, or brass in y’all’s belts,


Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’


She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burial.


These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;


Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. It read, “jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews.”


how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who under the power of the devil, because God was with him.


She kept doing this for many days, and Paul became greatly annoyed. Turning to the spirit, he said, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out that very moment.


“People of Israel, y’all listen to these words! Jesus of Nazareth was a man attested to y’all by God with miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through him among y’all, just as y’all already know.


“Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom y’all crucified, both Lord and Christ.”


By faith in his name, this man, whom y’all see and know, was made strong. His name and the faith that comes through him has given this man this complete health in front of all y’all.


He gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.


Then he took him by the right hand and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength.


let it be known to all of y’all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth—whom y’all crucified but whom God raised from the dead—this man stands here before y’all healthy.


They had Peter and John stand before them and began to question them, “By what power, or in what name, did y’all do this?”


“Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed!” Immediately he arose.


To this present hour we are hungry, thirsty, naked, beaten, and homeless.


as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all everything.


For if the willingness is present, the gift itself is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.


For y’all know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, he became poor for y’all’s sake, so that through his poverty y’all might become rich.


Y’all listen, my beloved siblings. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the empire which ʜᴇ promised to those who love ʜɪᴍ?


As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as excellent stewards of the grace of God in its various forms.
