Jesus called his twelve disciples to himself and gave them the authority to cast out unclean spirits and to heal every disease and every sickness.


Y’all heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely y’all have received, so freely y’all should give.


Then he told the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and it was completely restored, just like the other.


While he was saying these things to them, a synagogue official came and bowed down before him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”


they will pick up snakes, and if they drink poison, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”


and begged him profusely, saying, “My little girl is at the point of death. Please come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be healed and live.”


He could do no mighty work there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and healed them.


They brought to him a man who was deaf and spoke with difficulty, and they begged him to lay his hand on him.


Then he laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight and began to glorify God.


As the sun was setting, the people brought all those who were sick with various diseases to Jesus, and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.


Now in the area around that place was an estate that belonged to the chief official of the island, named Publius, who welcomed us and treated us hospitably for three days.


After this happened, the rest of those on the island who were sick came and were cured.


Peter sent them all out. Then he knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.


God has placed in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of administration, and various kinds of tongues.
