They hatch viper’s eggs and weave the spider’s web. Whoever eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.


As if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him, or he went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him.


Brood of vipers, how can y’all, being evil, say anything good? For from what fills the heart, the mouth speaks.


Snakes! Brood of vipers! How will y’all escape the judgment of hell?


But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism, he said to them, “Y’all brood of vipers! Who warned y’all to flee from the wrath to come?


they will pick up snakes, and if they drink poison, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”


The islanders showed us uncommon kindness, building us a fire and taking us all in because it was raining and cold.


When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “This man must be a murderer. Even though he was saved from the sea, yet Justice has not allowed him to live.”


Are they deacons of Christ? (I’m speaking like a crazy person) I am more so: way more work, more times in prison, countless beatings, many times near death.
